Congregational Church of Batavia

OUTREACH

The generous support of our church members and friends empowers us to serve as the hands, feet and heart of Jesus Christ.

We help those locally and globally.

Our church’s Vision Statement says, “We are committed to serving as the hands and feet, and heart, of Christ.” Our Outreach Team supports this vision through dynamic engagement with missions locally, nationally and globally.

In our local communities, we serve organizations like the Association for Individual Development, Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity and Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry through financial gifts and volunteer work. Our church also collects and donates hundreds of pounds of needed non-perishable food items and household supplies each year for organizations such as the food pantry.

Each year we help those in our country affected by earthquakes, fires, tornadoes and other natural disasters by collecting special offerings for the United Church of Christ (UCC) disaster relief fund.

We assist internationally through missions such as Growing Hope Globally, helping farmers in under-resourced countries grow crops and realize income for their families, and UCC Mission partners bringing clean water to villages in Africa through drilling wells.

The generous support of our church members and friends empowers us to serve as the hands, feet and heart of Jesus Christ.
