Iftar in Ramadan June 1, 8:00 PM, Paxton Hall
All are invited to join in an Iftar Saturday June 1. The Iftar is the meal served at the end of the day during the 30 days of Ramadan, to break the day's fast. Literally, it means "breakfast.". Iftar is served at sunset during each day of Ramadan, as Muslims break the daily fast. This Iftar is jointly sponsored by the Batavia Islamic Center and our Justice and Witness Team. All are invited to arrive at the church any time after 8:00 PM. The full meal will be served at about 8:30 PM.
We all from different traditions pursue the same goals, that of cultivating human goodness and bringing happiness to all human beings.
