Taize Worship

On the second Wednesday of each month, we hold an evening worship service following the general format of the ecumenical services developed in Taizé, France during the Second World War, a period of persecution and stress for the people of Occupied France.

The services are designed to create a time of quiet and contemplation, with simple songs repeated many times until the music becomes an integral part of you, scripture readings, led prayers, and an extended time of silence for prayerful reflection.

Taizé services start at 6:30 p.m. in the main sanctuary and generally run for about 30 minutes. All ages and faiths welcomed.
