Senior High Youth Ministry
About The Senior High Youth Ministry
The Senior High Youth Ministry is open to 9th through 12th grade students. Our ministry includes a team of adults who love God and have a heart for students. Adult volunteers are selected, screened and trained. We have a relational ministry. Great emphasis is placed on adults forming relationships with youth, youth with each other, and all of us with Christ.
Our Small Group program is the focal point of our ministry, where students have a safe place to be heard, and cared for by their fellow students and an adult leader.
Our programs combine scriptural foundation with the realities of life and the culture.
We feel that youth are an important part of the church and we construct opportunities for them to participate in the worship service, engage in mission work and other ministry areas.
- Sunday School meets during the Worship service following the children’s sermon in the Senior High Room, which is in the lower level of the Education Wing.
- Senior High Small Groups meet Sundays, 5-8 pm, Oct– April. Dinner is included.
- Two weekend retreats each year provide a relaxing, focused time of study and fellowship.
- A week-long mission trip in the summer.
- Fun outings planned year-round, such as a water park, laser tag, Christmas party, eating out and more.
