Saturday Morning Men’s Bible Study

Over the years the Men’s Bible Study has been an important part of the spiritual life of many men in our congregation. When you arrive at 8:00 am, you’ll find coffee and Harner’s coffee-cakes waiting for you.

The group studies books from the Old and New Testament, as selected by the group, and also other books, such as The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard and A Generous Orthodoxy by Brian McLaren.

Participants “chip in” $2 each Saturday, and the money is used for a variety of mission purposes, such as helping fund the summer high school mission trip, contributing to a community social service agency fund-raiser, helping a family with medical bills.

Some guys have been in the group for several years, while others have just started coming. You’ll find a warm welcome! We meet in Paxton Hall—close to the kitchen counter—on Saturdays, 8:00-9:15 am.
