Monday Evening Women’s Bible Study
Open to all women of the church, this study appeals to women who are working outside of the home during the day. Women in the group take turns leading the discussion and often use study guides designed for “self-directed” groups.
The group has studied individual books of the Bible, as well as books devoted to biblical themes and concerns.
On Monday, January 18, the group is beginning a 12 week study of John 3:16 by Max Lucado. The guides are $8.00 each and will be available at meetings. Here's a brief description of the study:
"Timeless and powerful, the 26 words of John 3:16 proclaim a powerful message of love, a source of hope, and a promise of life. In this interactive study based on his book, 3:16, Max Lucado unpacks the incredible message of John 3:16, illuminating one of the most beloved Scriptures in the entire Bible."
Upon the conclusion of the John 3:16 study, the group will resume their study of the book of Isaiah.
Not just a “study group,” the women appreciate the chance to share “joys and concerns” and to reach out to each other when a need arises.
This group meets on Mondays, 7:30 – 8:30 pm in the conference room of the south wing. For more information, contact Pat Engel or Jean Stone.
