Mission and Vision Statement: “Serving Christ by Serving Others”
We are a community of Christians called together in covenant by a vision of God’s justice, peace and love revealed in Jesus our Lord.
WORSHIP is the central function of our church. We exist to worship God. Worship is both celebration and meditation, joyful praise and quiet reflection. We will:

Offer traditional and contemporary worship styles;

Appreciate the traditions of our sanctuary, while accommodating drama, dance, instrumental groups and contemporary forms of worship;

Open wide the doors of our church to all;

Improve access to our church to ensure that all, regardless of their physical abilities, are made welcome.
Through our words and deeds, we will glorify Jesus Christ by reaching out to others. To accomplish our MISSION we will:
- Restructure our ministries as we evaluate the dynamics of our changing society and the needs of our members;
- Increase participation by developing programs to reach high school and college-age students, families with small children, women and men, single parents and seniors;
- Develop small groups to get to know and support each other;
- Reach out to the wider community to share God’s word and serve others in Jesus’ name;
- Actively seek new worshipers by publicizing services, events and programs.
Our EDUCATION programs for children, youth and adults will be biblically informed and culturally relevant. We will:
- Provide programs for all ages, from nursery to seniors, including experiential as well as classroom programs;
- Encourage interaction between generations ;
- Strive to make mission, fellowship and worship strong components of our education offerings;
- Support through training and planning those who teach and lead in our church.
We will bring—with God’s help and guidance—this vision into being by investing ourselves wholeheartedly in the life of our church as we join together In WORSHIP, MISSION and EDUCATION. We recognize that a faithful response to Christ’s call requires personal sacrifice.
